The North Peace Historical Society’s Annual General Meeting will take place at the museum. We’ll be eating a turkey dinner from Aniela’s Kitchen followed by dessert. After dinner, we’ll have a short meeting to look back at what we accomplished this last year. Our guest speaker this year is Nigel Hannaford who will be telling stories about the Alaska Highway News drawing on his work as editor there in the late 1970s and early 1980s. His presentation is entitled “Giving a tinker's damn about the North Peace: The Alaska Highway News in the 1970s.” Tickets are $25 and are available at the museum. Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to be a member to attend; you only need a membership to vote.
Tickets are $25 and are available at the museum. Tickets must be purchased in advance by Feb. 21, 2020.
